Teaching
My teaching aims to provide arguments that confront development-related challenges; thus, I have aligned my lectures with the premises that I follow in my own research: systems thinking, inter- and trans-disciplinarity, plus real-life and problem-solving principles.
Consequently, I have developed the following postgraduate modular courses: ‘complex systems analysis’ and ‘agroforestry’, that include theoretical and applied parts, as well as the open seminars on ‘scientific writing’ and ‘time management’, focused on general scientific know-how.
Below, is a summary of my current teaching assignments:
Lecturer. Bonn International Graduate School on Development Research (BIGS-DR) of the Center for Development Research, University of Bonn. Bonn, Germany.
Scientific writing. Interdisciplinary (three departments) modular course (2011-2023).
Complex systems analysis. Interdisciplinary/disciplinary course (department of Natural Resources Management) (2011-2017, 2020, 2021).
Agroforestry. Disciplinary course for the department of Natural Resources Management (2011-2015, 2024).
Time management. Open seminar (2014-2016, 2020-2023).
Lecturer. Master Environmental Sciences. Institute for Environmental Science (iES) at the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau. Landau, Germany
